[ Jean, stupidly enough, rarely turns down a fight. It's a matter of ego or something -- definitely some stupid reason like that, anyway, made especially stupid given he's never met Squall in person and really knows not much about his ability to fight! As a result, though, by afternoon he's found himself by the lake, decked out in his scout gear as he stands around and waits for Squall.
There are, thankfully, trees around here. Not as many as he'd like, but there's definitely enough for him to stay competitive! ]
[ Squall wasn't sure if the guy was even going to show up. He definitely wouldn't blame him if he didn't, seeing as how... different their interactions usually turn.
