If you ever found you way into my school I wouldn't let the girls tug on your tail.

Well, I'd be a pretty big distraction if I went with you to all of your... classes, right?

We don't have schools. You'd have to show me what one does outside of learning!

It'll be a new discovery for both of us since I don't know what others do outside of school.

Maybe they eat ice cream and pet foxes, but not pull tails.

[ his tail immediately shoots up as he looks around, before it starts to swish back and forth. ]

[ Squall braces himself, arms partially held out for Kaden to jump right into. ]

[ he immediately buries his face into Squall's shoulder, squeezing him as hard as he can. not to the point of trying to crush him, which... well, given how he's been feeling as of late. ]

... I forgot what this was like.

[ Squall swats the back of his legs lightly to gesture for him to lift them up, because in a matter off seconds Squall lifts him off his feet into his arms. ]

[ Kaden has to keep a squeak of surprise from escaping, turning into a gasp. ]

[ not that Kaden is heavy or anything but. he didn't expect this, and his cheeks turn bright pink. ]

Only because you're upset. This isn't an everyday thing.

[ then he'll have to enjoy every second, as his happiness quickly deteriorates and he clings to Squall a little tighter. ]

... I want him to return. I don't want him to forget all of this.

[ He holds Kaden close and begins to wander away from the sight. ]

[ he can't remember the last time he was held like this, but it brings him more comfort than he's felt in what feels like... forever. ]

[ Squall keeps a strong grip on Kaden, making sure he couldn't slip from his grasp. ]

You could always... draw a picture of him or something while it's fresh in your mind.

... that's a good idea. Or maybe I should finally start making lists of things he left behind.

[ another snug, and his tail starts to swish. ]

Squall... I'm glad I know you. I hope I never forget you, too.

I'd... be pretty annoyed if you forgot me, so you better not.

[ almost instantly he re-adjusts his arms around Squall and clings as hard as he can!!! ]

I won't! I don't want to annoy a good human. There aren't enough of you out there...

[Squall nuzzles his cheek against Kaden's a little. ]

Well if you won't and I won't then we have nothing to worry about...
