[ Squall snorted softly at that and leaned down a bit to kiss the top of his head. ]

I don't have a choice, you've left me completely powerless.

[Sora squirms.]

That makes me want to challenge you to staying in bed for a whole day.

I feel like that might be a harder challenge on you. Seeing as how you're always out and about.

[ He reached down to cup Sora's cheek with a warm smile on his face. ]

You have so much energy, something I really do wonder if you power this island all on your own. It must be a constant battle between your positivity and my negativity, huh?

Yup. I'm secretly an arehei. Don't tell anyone.

[Sora looks up at Squall and leans his head into the touch. He can't help but chuckle.]

Negative? You say while you're smiling at me... [Which he likes.] I dunno, Squall. You're a lot less grumpy these days. I still remember when I first met you, making ice all over the place. That hasn't happened for a while.

[ Squall's cheeks turned a faint shade of pink. he turned his head to the side. ]

You melted down the icy wall of hatred, so... I guess I have you to thank that I'm not getting frostbite anymore.

[His smile gets bigger. He nuzzles his nose gently against Squall's cheek.]

I'm pretty proud of you, did you know that?

Proud...? Why would you be proud of me?

[oathkeeper]

Because you have changed a lot since you first came here. You're really not as negative as you think you are, dummy. You've got friends that care about you and you care about them. You don't act like you're all alone.

Still a little bad at saying what you mean sometimes, but it's gotten a lot better... [He gives a teasing smile.]

Maybe I just don't want to give you the satisfaction of hearing some of those things. Because I know you'll get that grin on your face and you'll start to vibrate and sparkle.

[ He let out a tiny huff, but turned to look at Sora again. ]

But with that being said... I do... like it when you you show your excitement... even over the littlest of things. It's cute...

What- Squall!

[Sora's turn to blush as he looks down. Some little red sparks bounce off the tips of his ears.]

When you're happy, I'm happy, okay...

Then I guess in a way, I contribute to your perky nature... since being around you always makes me happy.

Heh. You're cute too, Squall. [Some more red sparks...!]

Cute? [ He let out another huff and pinched his cheek playfully. ]

What part about me is cute?

Ack--! [Sora fails and swats at Squall's fingers.]

When you say things like that, Squall!!

The only cute one here is you.

[ He huffs loudly and goes to try and tickle Sora's sides. ]

Heheh-Ahh!

[Sora flails under those fingers. So much for feeling drowsy, tickling wakes him right up. He tries to grab at Squall's fingers.]

Nooo!

Noooo? Nooo what, Sora?


[ Sorry, but Squall feels like being a little bratty, so he keeps tickling his sides a little while longer. ]

[SQUALL THAT'S RUDE]

Stop that!! No tickling!

[Squall knows he hates tickling, and yet!!

Well, Sora's gonna start wrestling Squall, fighting his fingers and then rolling on top of him. Stop tickling!]

[ It's been a while since he's gotten into one of these silly wrestling matches with Sora, and for some reason every time they do it just puts a smile on Squall's face. He gives Sora a gentle playful headbutt as he fights to roll back on top. ]

What are you going yo do to stop me?

[oathkeeper]

Whua-! [Sora yelps softly when he's headbutted as more awkward panicked laughter escapes him. He's so glad Squall is having a good time?!

He struggles to stay on top of Squall, straddling him and then trying to smack and hold his hands.]

I'll zap you if you're not careful, Squall!!

Zap me? I'd like to see you try.

[ He really should be careful what he wishes for when it comes to Sora, but apparently after all this time he still hasn't learned this lesson. Luckily for Sora, his thread distracted him enough to stop the tickling. ]

Ahh?!

[Squall shouldn't urge Sora on like that, he just takes it as challenge to actually do it. But since Squall's fingers have stopped tickling he doesn't feel as distressed to do it. Or at least not plain blast him with a thundaga.

So instead Sora uses some dunamis to create little sparks of lightning at his hands that crackle like static electricity where Sora touches Squall's arms. He looks down at Squall grinning playfully.]

[ WOW SORA. WAY TO REMIND HIM OF THE SHOCK TREATMENT SEIFER PUT HIM THROUGH jkjkjk The touch was enough to startle him momentarily though. It almost felt like a static shock but a little stronger. The hair on his arms were standing on end and he even shuttered a little.]

You little brat...!

[ His words sounded harsh until his lips curled into a grin as he tried to take him by surprise and roll him over again. ]

[WOW HE DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT THAT OKAY Sora lets out a rather surprised yelp when he's rolled back over. Honestly he liked being able to hover over Squall like that while he could, made him feel taller. But alas--]

I'm the brat?! [Sora lets out a puff of laughter,] You tickled me!

Maybe you shouldn't leave yourself so open then.

[ He grins down at Sora, hair falling in his face. ]
