Yeah... these kind of feelings do make you want to sleep a lot... I know that well.

[ Sorry, Warrior, squall isn't letting you go quite yet. ]

I will in a bit... but first I want your home to warm up. It's not healthy or safe for you to sleep in this cold environment.

You're not alone here, because I have a room here too. And I'm too stubborn to let you sleep in the cold.

If there is one thing that I have come to learn while here, it is that our time is finite much as it is within life. But here... here it is a different sort of finite. Perhaps because it is so sudden and to know that memories of these days will not always remain with us.

[ He allows his words to be soft, gently tracing the pads of his fingers over the Wild Rose on the inside of his shield. ]

You should cherish your time with Sora. For I wish to not have you feel this sort of ache.

I lost two important people to me when I was younger... and after coming here I have learned that you should cherish all of your relationships no matter what. Sora will understand if I'm here today, and he'll probably want to smother you with hugs as well.

[ Coming to shake his head slowly, the Warrior then allows his head to bow some. ]

I don't need hugs.

It can't hurt to have them either though, right?

[ Even though his voice is soft, ]

I won't force him upon you though... but I also won't leave you right now.

[ While he won't speak his thoughts, at some point, Squall will leave and the Warrior will have this house all to himself and while he typically is fine with being on his own... to be without one he had shared gentle touches of affection with in the form of a kiss, a hug, or even a smile... he's not so sure what to do or how it will feel with that loss here now. ]

I'm sure no one would mind if you wanted to come stay at my place for a while... if you wanted to.

[ The Warrior allows himself to slowly blink at the offer before his gaze returns to that of his shield. ]

[ Rather than say anything, the Warrior slowly nods once before he goes back to looking at his shield, head bowed, snow still around them. ]

[ While Warrior focuses on the shield in his arms, Squall lets himself droop into his back again, hugging him close. ]

It was not my intention to cause you worry.

Don't feel bad about it...

[ Squall just continues hugging WoL loosely. ]

We're friends. Brothers in arms. We got each other's backs. That's the way I see it anyway.

[ Friends... brothers? To think he could have such a thing like that here... ]
