He left his amulet behind. But this... it felt different. I felt... this pain in my chest like something was cut. Around the same time Sora disappeared.
[There's a note of surprise that Auron can't quite hide. Terra had told him the kind of fate that awaits him back in his world. Could he somehow beat it by going back?]
All of them went back? There must be something far reaching in their home if it's taking all of them.
[He will give Squall a lot of shit and will let him struggle a bit to find his own answers to problems he feels Squall should solve. But this is not a time for that.]
I felt something... snap. When Sora left I felt a part of my heart actually snap... like some connection between us was gone. What if... he doesn't come back the same? What if he doesn't even remember me?
[A snap? That can't possibly be good at all. But Auron doesn't know that for sure. For as much as him and Squall have gotten to know a lot of keyblade wielders and their adventures, they'd never have that innate understanding of everything they do.
Still, he keeps his voice calm. Squall needs reassurance, not more worries.]
Maybe...maybe it's something to do with his powers. We always joke about him making friends with everyone, but if it's tied in with all his keyblade powers, maybe leaving caused it to break.
So once he gets back, it should snap right back into place.

[ THERE IS NO BAD MOODS IN BA-SING-SE. ]
Pfff
[Auron abruptly switches their mode of communication to image. So now have your parent stare you down.]
Look me in the eye and tell me that.

Sorry, you're breaking up. I couldn't hear you.

Squall...

Yes, Auron?
[ Squall is looking a little like he hasn't slept a in a while. ]

[Squall is clearly not going to get out of this without confessing to something.]
You sick or something?

[ Squall even tries to get this point across he forces a smile, and it really looks unnatural. ]
no subject
[Because he'd rather have Squall being a smart ass than be like this.]

All right. Since everything's fine, you want to meet up anywhere? Or come over to the house?
no subject
[ Squall sighs softly again, pushing his bangs up and out of his face. ]
Sora's gone.
no subject
When you say gone. Gone gone? Or went home for a bit gone?

Wait, he mentioned he failed some kind of test with his keyblade. Maybe he's going back to fulfill it? Is it just him who is gone?

[Terra worries him, though. What does fate have in store for the young man trapped?]

[ He tries not to give away just how much this was bothering him, but his voice cracks a little. ]
What if he sees me and the first name that slips out is Leon...?
