[ Thanfully, nothing magical and Squall will be able to shove the door open with his shoulder and the help of jiggling the handle. Which, when he does, will be met with the cries of the trapped kitties making their escape so as to not freeze to death.
[ Squall keeps the door open for any more kittens to run free in case some were hiding. He made his way over to Warrior, staring at him with such worry in his eyes. ]
[ As snow gently drifts down, the Warrior remains silent on his knees, looking to his shield he still keeps laid across him, fingers gently brushing over the carved words inside it. ]
This is nothing new to me. To have people leave and yet, this time, within this world... it's different.
I thought that I might feel something... that someone... could feel something for me.
[ The words are said softly, the Warrior coming to bow his head as he looks to the words Wild Rose carved within the inside of his shield. An act done so that, should he forget, he may remember with this simple phrase.
Tightly, he squeezes his eyes shut and comes to cradle the shield within his hands, holding it against his chest as he rests his head against it.
And perhaps, while silent, the sound of one who has held so much inside for so long can be heard in the form of gentle sobbing. ]
[ Was... he crying? Has Squall ever even seen Warrior feel this amount of sadness before? It was honestly really shocking to him. His hands squeeze Warrior's shoulders until he let himself drop to his knees, hugging Warrior from behind.
He couldn't believe... Warrior was crying, it actually... pained his heart to see this. ]
[ For as brave and valiant a knight as he is, even one who serves as a Leader for the light can break down when the weight is simply too much on their shoulders.
Rather than say anything or even come to acknowledge the embrace from behind him, the Warrior simply hugs his shield a little tighter, allowing strands of silver and white to fall in front of his face as he does so. ]
[ Squall squeezes him tighter from behind, not really sure what else he could do. Warrior was breaking down in ways he didn't think possible. He wasn't even good at cheering Sora up when he was crying, how was he supposed to cheer Warrior up. ]
This really sucks.... this world is testing you hard...
[ Although unable to convey the importance to Squall, to simply have him here in this moment of what could be considered heartache... it was more than anything he could have asked for, figuring he would simply be left alone in the cold and snow.
Taking a moment to attempt at composing himself some, he allows himself to look back down to the words etched on the inside of his shield and closes his eyes again shortly after. ]
Heart ache... is probably one of the worst feelings you can feel... it feels like someone stabbed you through the chest, without an actual physical wound... It's.... it sucks.
Find distractions... Things that you have to concentrate on to keep your mind away from the sad thoughts... FInd a new hobby like cooking... some kind of sport... maybe you could spar a little more. Something like that...?
If there is one thing that I have come to learn while here, it is that our time is finite much as it is within life. But here... here it is a different sort of finite. Perhaps because it is so sudden and to know that memories of these days will not always remain with us.
[ He allows his words to be soft, gently tracing the pads of his fingers over the Wild Rose on the inside of his shield. ]
You should cherish your time with Sora. For I wish to not have you feel this sort of ache.
I lost two important people to me when I was younger... and after coming here I have learned that you should cherish all of your relationships no matter what. Sora will understand if I'm here today, and he'll probably want to smother you with hugs as well.

Squall tries jiggling the handle to the front door a few times. When that doesn't work, he starts trying to nudge it with his shoulder. ]
What the hell is this door made out of...

[ Squall doesn't try to pull him up just yet. He quietly moves behind him and rests his hands on Warrior's shoulders. ]
